Sheet Metal Fabricator / Welder

Duffy Coachbodies have an immediate opportunity for an experienced Sheet Metal Fabricator / Welder join the team in our Automotive manufacturing facility based in Dundalk, Co. Louth, Ireland.
The role will initially look at the fabriaction, fitting and shaping of components on specialist vehicles. Assembly to meet strict quality requirements and making adjustments as required to enable the next operators to proceed with their work.

MIG welding processes utilised throughout. Duties will also extend to supporting other departments in areas as required to maintain limousine and hearse production rates.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the relevant metal working processes and MIG welding skills. On site training is expected but foundation skills and experience are a must in all areas.

Tube/pipe rolling and forming is an advantage.
Welder certification is an advantage but not required.
