Duffy Coachbodies have an opportunity for an experienced Panel Beater to join the team in our automotive manufacturing facility. The selected candidate must have experience in traditional motor body repair, re-skinning doors, aligned body panels etc,...

The role will involve the assembly of body panel components, fitting & alignment of car body panels and doors on specialist vehicles, gaping doors to meet strict quality requirements and adjusting as required to enable the paint department to proceed with their preparation work.

MIG welding processes utilised throughout. Duties will also extend to supporting the Fabrication/Bodyshop department in areas as required to maintain limousine and hearse production rates.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a high standard of work and talent in working to the tight tolerances of the automotive industry. Onsite training will be required but foundation skills and experience are a must in all areas.

Welder certification is an advantage but not required as can be arranged in-house.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • High quality MIG welding.
  • Ensuring compliance to H&S / Quality processes and standards.
  • Communicating quality issues to staff.
  • Developing skills on a consistent basis

Candidate Requirements:

  • Preferred 5+ Years of experience, Minimum 3 years relevant experience.
  • Bodyshop experience / crash repair / vehicle restoration.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and self-motivate.

Wages are based on the successful candidates' level of experience with room for growth, competitive packages will be offered for employees who demonstrate skill and understanding of the work processes.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From €16.50 per hour
